How to register and pay for The Heart Strings Run
For attendees · a one-minute guide
Follow the laceStep 1
Tap the link or scan the QR code
Your organizer shares a link like laces.run/xwk5MK on WhatsApp, social media, SMS or a poster. Tap it, or point your phone camera at the QR code and tap the link that appears.
It opens in your browser. Nothing to install.
Step 2
Pick your ticket and fill in your details
The event page opens. Choose your ticket, then enter your name, phone number and email. Tap Register & Pay to continue.
Use an email you can open. Your ticket goes there.
Step 3
Check the total and enter your mobile money number
The checkout page shows what you're paying for, line by line. Enter the MTN MoMo or Airtel Money number you want to pay from. Laces recognises the network from the first digits. Then tap Pay.
You see the full amount before you pay.
Step 4
Approve the payment on your phone
A payment prompt pops up on your phone. Check the amount, then enter your mobile money PIN to approve, just like you do when you send money.
The prompt comes from our payment partners, so instead of Laces it may name Flutterwave, or Eversend's bank partner, the bank that handles Eversend payments behind the scenes. That's expected. No prompt? Dial *165# (MTN) or *185# (Airtel) and approve the pending request.
Your PIN stays on your phone. Laces never sees it.
Step 5
Laces confirms your payment
Wait a few seconds while we confirm it with your network. When it's done, you'll see You've successfully paid and your order code. You're registered.
Keep the page open, and don't pay twice.
Step 6
Your ticket arrives by email
Straight away, you get an email with your ticket and its QR code. On event day, show it at the entrance, on your phone or printed.
Can't find it? Check spam or promotions.
That's it
You're registered. See you there.

Good to know
Quick answers for the moments people usually get stuck.
Can I send the money to the organizer's number instead?
No. Paying through the Laces link is what creates your ticket and saves your place. Money sent to a personal number can't be matched to your registration.
The prompt on my phone doesn't say Laces. Is it genuine?
Yes, that's normal. Payments are collected by our licensed partners, so the prompt may name Flutterwave, or Eversend's bank partner, the bank that processes Eversend payments behind the scenes.
I didn't get the email with my ticket.
Check your spam or promotions folder first. You can also use Find your ticket with your order code.
My payment didn't go through. What now?
Open the event link again and retry. If money left your account but no ticket arrived, write to support@laces.run with the number you paid from.
